And it turns out I need to make time for it. So, it looking like I won't have a comic up for Wednesday. Let's get back together and try this comic thing on Friday.

After writing this comic, I immediately started wondering how much weight an actual server could hold before it would collapse. Is it in the thousands or is it closer to the 300 that I arbitrarily threw into today's comic? If someone feels like experimenting with their servers at work, let me know the results of your findings.

So now that the story is out of the way, what's next on the schedule for Business Casual? Well, in addition to the usual three comics per week, I have two main projects that I want to finish before the end of the year.

The first is to give the site an update. I still like the overall look and feel of the site, but one thing I can't stand is how hard it is to find a particular comic. When I wrote the site, I was proud that I came up with a system that didn't rely on database entries to display each new comic. Now, though, I'm starting to realize the error of my ways. Beyond just giving a descriptive title for each comic, moving to a database will give me the ability to tag each strip and open up more sharing/commenting options.

The other project that I want to do is prepare a second book. While I was somewhat pleased with the first book that I put out, the quality didn't turn out as good as I thought it could be. So for the next volume, instead of the 108 pages and 200 plus comics that the first book contained, I'm thinking of ramping up to around 120-150 pages and putting in closer to 350-400 comics. I'm also planning on switching printers. Sadly, the book will cost more, but I think it'll be worth it for the higher quality product. I'm also thinking of offering it as an eBook, but that's something I still need to research further.
