Yes, that's my old power supply in the comic. When faced with the decision of either throwing something away or beating it into pieces, the choice is actually quite easy.

I'm not sure, but I think that my factory installed power supply was only 250 watts. If it's true, that's way too low. Bad Dell. I picked up a new one (350 watt) up a Best Buy for about $65. It was even easy to install. I was expecting to have to perform surgery on my case, but it fit in quite easily. I can now go back to wasting countless hours on web surfing and City of Heroes.

No animals were harmed in the destruction of the power-supply. Except that one marmot. But he had it coming.
