I love when you're trying to troubleshoot a problem, and the person that you're helping neglects to tell you the most important detail until about an hour into the call. And when you inform them that, yes, perhaps dropping their laptop off the roof of their house could be the cause of the machine's inability to connect to the wireless network, they act surprised like that could never be the real answer. Surely, this problem couldn't be something they caused.
