What's this strange new art style that's adorning Business Causal today? Why, it's my first ever guest strip week. As I mentioned in an
earlier post, I recently celebrated 2 complete years without missing a single update. To celebrate, I'm taking a week off from the strip and letting some of my webcomic friends take their shots at the Business Casual crew.
Leading off the guest strip week is Scott Gallatin from the webcomic,
MadScott. Scott's comic goes from zany to bizarre to cute and back again, and it's been bringing the funny for a couple of years now. I absolutely adore Scott's take on the comic (particularly his rendition of the Boss) and want to thank him for taking the time to create this for me. Scott even presented me with the original, inked comic during the recent Minnesota Fallcon so bonus points for you, Scott!
I've got more guest comics coming throughout the week including an extra update day or two because I received some extra unsolicited strips. I hope you enjoy these guest strips as much as I have enjoyed receiving them. I may even make this a regular, yearly occurrence.
In other news, I will be attending my first "out-of-country" convention at the end of the month as I travel to lovely Winnipeg, Manitoba for the
Central Canada Comic Con. And since this comic convention actually occurs during Halloween, I expect the costumes to be out in full force. And I'll be there in full force as well promoting
Business Casual and
Rusty The Wonderdog to all con goers. I'll also have my usual assortment of
sketch cards and commissioned pen at the ready. So to all of my Canadian readers (there's gotta be a couple of you out there), stop by the convention if you get a chance. In addition to me, there will be plenty of comic and other pop-culture goodness in which you can indulge yourself.
