When a conference charges over $1000 for each attendee, don't you think that whoever is running these events could spring for if not decent, then at least, an edible meal? I'm not expecting a porterhouse steak at these events, but I think we deserve something a little better than a frozen croissant sandwich, a bag of Cheetos, an apple, and a warm sprite. Is the food budget for attendees $2.50 each? Can we get that bumped up to $5 and at least get a sandwich that doesn't look like it's been rejected from the vending machine?
