When you start to put more focus and time into one thing in your life, it's logical that another aspect of your life has to suffer. For me, one thing that's definitely gotten the short straw in the last year or so is book reading. Now, I still read comics and trade paperbacks, but I don't seem to have the time to invest in the novel or biography reading that I used to do.

When I have free time now, I'm either thinking or working on the strip, or I'm practicing some other art or web site designs. Real world job has also been eating up a good deal of my time. I mean, if it weren't for my continual TV watching, I would think that I was nigh unto productive with my time.

On a related note, I've made it over a month now with the 3 updates a week. It's definitely harder, and I'm surprised at how quickly an update day comes along now. But, so far, I'm still persevering. Talk to me again in a couple of months, and we'll see how this is really going.
