April 16, 2008
It finally happened during my last job, but it still somewhat holds true these days. I started getting headaches at work. I've never hid the fact that I didn't enjoy my last job at all. And, occasionally, either due to the work itself or just the fact that I didn't like it there, I started getting the dastardly little head tremors during my tenure. And to combat it, I had to join the ever growing legion of programmers that has to store some sort of pill at his desk to help make it through the day.

These days, I hardly ever get them, and when I do, it's because I've either just threw down a 12-14 hour work day, or I stayed up way too late the night before and didn't get enough sleep. But the pills are still there. They still call out to me occasionally. And I don't think I'll ever be able to get rid of them again.
