No, I don't plan on doing many Bible related comics in the Business Casual world, but this one just came to me one day while I was in church. Why did these particular verses come to me? Well, I went to a private Christian high school, and one year, I competed in an event of memorizing the book of Proverbs in one chapter increments. Most of the book, I've forgotten because I wasn't really committing anything to long-term memory. I was just storing the verses in the short-term brain dump folder in my head. Once my mouth spouted out the words, the folder was emptied to store the next set.

Anyway, one of the few collections of verses that I retained was the ant and sluggard bit from Proverbs 6 that I used in today's strip. I've always enjoyed its rhythm, meaning, and the overall picture that I get in my mind when I read it. And anytime I can use the word sluggard in a comic, I have to jump on the chance. So take this verse, add in one narcoleptic comic character, and the hijinks will start ensuing all by themselves.
