I got my first "real" job when I was still in college, and that particular interview was the only one that I was actually nervous. On every other interview that I've had, I had a steady job at the time, so there wasn't any real pressure if I didn't actually get the new job. That and I've got the whole ultra laid back thing going. Laid back or lazy and uncaring. It's one of those.
I've always thought that my calm demeanor has helped me during job interviews over the years. Knowing the answers to most of the questions that are asked of me probably helps, but I still think that I generally interview well regardless of technical knowledge.
Of course, I could be wrong. I couldn't tell you exactly what employers actually think about me. Most probably just make fun of me after I leave. After all, that is what I do when I finish interviewing someone. How else do you think I got the source material for all of these interview comics?
