The current Where Are They Now? storyline that's running should finish on the Monday before Christmas (December 18). I've scripted out the entire storyline from now until then, and that's the last one. When it's all finished, the story will total 16 comics long. That's completely blows away the old Business Casual storyline record of something like 6 or 7 when Frank went to the conference.

I've already finished all the comics through the end of October, leaving me with a full month buffer of comics. It's strange how I work on the comics. Some weeks, I can churn them out quick enough to make me believe I could do multiple comics a week with ease. Other weeks, I struggle getting one complete and nothing goes right. Either the drawings look wrong, the dialogue sounds dumb, or other things take away from my drawing time.

Since this is just the way things are, I try to ride the good productivity streaks as much as I can. If I'm working well, I try to do as much as I can of another comic immediately. Even if I don't finish it, I'll do faster work than if I pick it up later. This method helped me finish an extra comic or two already. Huzzah!

Today marks the 100th comic in the Business Casual world. I should have hit this mark in April 2005, but that's how things go sometimes. Be thankful that we got here, not how long the journey took.

I would celebrate the milestone by giving the site a face lift or something, but I'm more focused on completing as many comics as I can right now. Maybe I'll put together a collection of Business Casual strips into book form at comiXpress. I'm sure that people would line the city blocks trying to get one.
