When I'm writing the comics, usually I have to think about what the comic is going to say. Then, I have to spin the idea in a way that it's not just an inside joke.
Today's comic, however, required no thinking whatsoever. Now that I'm doing the comic, some of them basically write themselves from real world conversations. Today's comic is a perfect example. When I heard the line on panel 2 in a meeting, I immediately thought how that line could make a good comic.
